BWA REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – PILBARA

THE OPPORTUNITY

To support the development of country basketball and ensure Basketball WA continues to provide the best environment for our members to participate in the sport, we are currently seeking to appoint a Development Officer for the Pilbara region based in either Karratha (preferably) or Hedland.

Basketball WA has an expanding network of regional development officers across Western Australia who are supported to grow the game across our State.

Although this is ideally a fulltime role, Basketball WA is placing consideration around how we can best support the expansive region of the Pilbara and encourages anybody who is interested in this role to apply.  This includes those who might consider part-time or job share arrangements and/or who may be based in different locations.

YOU

You will be responsible for the development of basketball across the Pilbara region.  Ideally the position will be based in Karratha (where there is a SportsHouse office) and will cover our existing Associations in Karratha, Port/South Hedland, Tom Price, Paraburdoo and Wickham, as well as expanding basketball’s reach into places like Newman and Roebourne.

SALARY

Salary package negotiable.
