Headquartered in Perth and scattered across the vast expanse of Western Australia, the group comprises 35 like-minded enthusiasts who proudly represent the fastest growing sport in the region. What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary leader to join Basketball WA as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You’ll lead the delivery of its strategic direction and commercial priorities, support and develop values and culture and be responsible for overall management of the activities and services to Affiliated Associations. You are responsible for advancing the interests of BWA throughout Western Australia and at a national level to Basketball Australia, to deliver on BWA’s vision to improve the life of Western Australians through basketball.

  • You have experience guiding and leading individuals in challenging and occasionally emotive settings, you have honed your skills as an adept and empathetic leader.
  • You are no stranger to working with a Board. Your collaborative and respectful approach allows you to build strong relationships with board members, leveraging their expertise and guidance.
