BWA REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – WHEATBELT
THE OPPORTUNITY
Basketball WA has over 1,500 registered members playing basketball in the Wheatbelt. To support the development of country basketball and ensure Basketball WA continues to provide the best environment for our members to participate in the sport, we are currently seeking to appoint a Development Officer for the Wheatbelt Region based in Northam.
Basketball WA has an expanding network of Regional Development Officers across Western Australia who are supported to grow the game across our State.
Basketball WA encourages anybody who is interested in this role to apply, noting that the role could be fulltime or parttime depending on the needs of the applicant. Current funding is available for a fulltime position for at least 3 years.

You will be responsible for the development of basketball across the Wheatbelt Region. The position will be based in Northam and will cover our numerous Associations in the Wheatbelt, such as Northam, Narrogin, Merredin, Wongan Hills, Mukinbudin, Dalwallinu and Dowerin, as well as expanding basketball’s reach into other Wheatbelt towns and communities. The applicant must be passionate about working in the country and must be prepared to operate independently and to travel significant distances for work.
SALARY
A salary package of $66,000 p.a. (incl. superannuation) is available for this position.
The successful applicant will also be provided with a fuel card for their vehicle.
