Wheelchair Sports WA is seeking a highly qualified, highly motivated individual who has the necessary skills to coach basketball at the highest level.

Experience in wheelchair basketball is not essential, and all basketball coaches are encouraged to apply.

Wheelchair Sports WA is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the management of sport, recreation and social events for people with a physical disability in Western Australia.
The Perth Wheelcats are Wheelchair Sports WA’s representatives in the National Wheelchair basketball League and are the five time National Wheelchair Basketball League Champions including winning the last four in a row. The team is regarded as the world’s best wheelchair basketball team, boasting some of the world’s best players and were recently awarded the 2009 Team of the Year at the prestigious ANZ Sports Awards.
The head coach position for the Perth Wheelcats will be responsible for coaching the team with direction and support provided from the Wheelchair Sports WA’s Sports Office.
The position of Head Coach for the Perth Wheelcats is voluntary, however all costs associated with interstate travel to relevant competitions is fully covered. The successful candidate will also be provided with a petrol card to cover costs of travelling to training and competitions.
