Two exciting employment opportunities are now available at Basketball WA. 

Special Projects/Lynx Administrator (Position 1003-01)

A terrific opportunity has now become available to work for Basketball WA to administer the Perth Lynx Women’s National Basketball League Team as well as Basketball WA Special Projects.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this key role will be responsible for:

  • Administering the day to day running of the Go for 2&5 Perth Lynx.
  • Providing Administrative Support to the Perth Lynx Head Coach/High Performance Coach/Manager.
  • Co-ordination and Administration of Basketball WA special projects.

This position is well suited to a strategic and creative thinker who is proactive and has excellent administrative and management skills. Excellent relationship building skills and written and oral communication skills are essential. Experience in working with diverse groups of people, volunteers and a range of stakeholders will be favourably regarded.

Development Manager (Position 1003-02)

An opportunity has now become available to work for Basketball WA to manage the Basketball WA Development Pathway. This is an exciting time for Basketball in WA as a number of new initiatives have commenced in the area of Player and Coach Development.

Reporting to the High Performance Coach/Manager, this key role will be responsible for:

  • To oversee and manage the Basketball Development Pathway and associated programs for Basketball WA.
  • To assist the High Performance Coach/Manager in the Administration of the Basketball WA pathway.

This position is well suited to a person who has a passion for Basketball and wishes to pursue a career in Coaching and Sports Administration. Basketball Coaching experience is essential at elite levels as well as work experience in Sports Administration. The ability to develop excellent relationships within the Basketball WA community, with high level written and oral communication skills.
