Basketball WA have recently appointed new staff to our Metro office.

Please meet:

Michelle Fletcher (High Performance Administrator)

Michelle joins our High Performance team as our HP Administrator.

Michelle has been involved with Basketball since arriving from Sydney in 1995. She has been a development officer, administrator, WABL coach and SBL player with the Rockingham Flames. She has held an office position at the Perth Redbacks for over 11 years, from Participation Programs, Domestic Comps, WABL Admin, Coach and Heads of Basketball in WABL programs, and is the current NBL1 Head coach of the Perth Redbacks. Michelle has also been actively involved in the state programs, as team manager, assistant coach and most recently as Head Coach of the WA Ivor Burge Men and also for the past few years Development Coach with the Perth Lynx.

Dan Vlahov (Development Officer)

Dan Vlahov has recently joined Basketball WA as the Development Officer.

Dan grew up in the Basketball WA system participating in all Hotshots and Future Development programs as a player along with representing multiple WA Metro State Teams in the Australian Junior Championships.

Dan is a current member of the Warwick Senators NBL1 Coaching Staff and Assistant Coach with the U18 WA Metro Men state team.
