Compliments of the season to everyone. I hope you all had an opportunity to relax and rejuvenate over the Christmas period. I look forward to working with you all in 2013 to grow and develop basketball and BWA providing a service that helps your Associations achieve your goals this year.
The following staffing changes will be happening next month at BWA.
Resignation – Craig Reynolds
Craig has resigned from his position as Chief Operating Officer with Basketball WA. Craig’s last day will be Wednesday 13 February 2013.
I would like to thank Craig for his dedication, commitment and hard work during his time with BWA. Craig has provided some ideas and initiatives that have seen a number of new projects develop over this time. Craig has displayed great passion for our sport and a strong work ethic which has seen him undertake many and varied tasks over the past 15 months.
We wish Craig all the very best for the future and look forward to seeing his continued involvement in basketball.
New Chief Operating Officer – Christian Rice
I am delighted to announce that Christian Rice will take over from Craig on 13 February as the new Basketball WA Chief Operating Officer.
Christian has a degree in Sports Management from Edith Cowan University and has held various roles over his four and a half years with Basketball WA, most recently that of Competition Manager being responsible for the SBL and WABL competitions.
Christian comes into the position with a wealth of knowledge and experience on matters basketball and with excellent conceptual and administrative skills. Christian will still have an active role in the SBL, even after a replacement Competitions Manager is secured.
