The WABC Stadium Manager position has become available as a result of Basketball WA and VenuesWest having signed a Heads of Agreement that will see both parties work together in a co-operative and productive relationship in the management and operations of the WA Basketball Centre.
Reporting to the CEO, the Stadium Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the facility in relation to presentation and condition; growth, development and success of programs and competitions; financial management; facility utilisation, customer service and will oversee staff and volunteers required for the operation of the stadium.
The successful candidate will have highly developed interpersonal and written and oral communication skills, experience in stadium management and involvement in a sports oriented organisation, be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products and possess the ability to manage high workloads and meet deadlines within specific time frames.
We are looking to interview potential applicants immediately with the successful applicant starting at the beginning of January 2014. Qualifications (or equivalent experience) in Sports Administration; Business or Education is desirable.
