Basketball WA is pleased to inform members of two recent staff appointments.

Special Projects/Waves Administrator – Melissa “Frizz” Ferguson who comes to us from a freelance media background, having been associated with the Waves already through work she has done with media company LMSC.

Frizz has also worked closely with LMSC and the State Basketball League as the Production Manager for SBLtv broadcasts.

Frizz starts with BWA on Monday 7 November and will bring a diverse range of skills to the role.

Office Manager/PA to CEO – Lisa Teua has been appointed to this role, having previous experience in the University system.

Lisa has worked with in a number of administration roles at both Edith Cowan University and most recently the University of Western Australia.

Lisa will start with BWA on Monday 14 November.

Finance Officer – Michelle Lang has been appointed to this role, Michelle has many years of bookkeeping experience. Most recently Michelle has been with Holy Rosary School.

Michelle will be replacing Melissa Sinfield while she is on long service leave. She will start on Tuesday 22 November.
