WA Basketball Centre will now be officially renamed the Bendat Basketball Centre, as a result of an agreement with Perth Wildcats owner Dr Jack Bendat.

The Basketball Centre which was newly opened in 2010 is WA’s state of the art basketball training facility and cost approximately $40 million to build.

  • Six competition courts with FIBA 3 rated ceiling mounted backboards
  • 11m high ceilings
  • Floors in competition area marked for Netball, Badminton, Basketball and Volleyball
  • Six change room areas and 48 toilets
  • Seating for 2000 in show court area
  • Seating for 600 on competition courts
  • Spectator viewing areas from first floor foyer
  • Fully accessible for wheelchair sports
  • First Floor event and VIP meeting room for up to 270 people
  • Café

  • Monday-Wednesdays 8:00am-10:30pm
    Casual court usage is generally available between 8am and 3.30pm
  • Thursday-Friday 8:00am-9:00pm  
    Except on event days. Phone ahead to check availability.
  • Saturdays-Sundays 9.00am-3.00pm
    Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 3pm for casual shooting.
