The BWA offices and stadium will be closed from Monday, 16 December with staff returning from Monday, 6 Jan.

We will not be accepting any further bookings nor be open to casual shooting during this period as we conduct crucial repairs on the training courts and then have all courts revarnished.

Casual shooting will resume from 11am Monday, 6 January 2025

WA Basketball Centre will now be officially renamed the Bendat Basketball Centre, as a result of an agreement with Perth Wildcats owner Dr Jack Bendat.

The Basketball Centre which was newly opened in 2010 is WA’s state of the art basketball training facility and cost approximately $40 million to build.

• Two show courts with mobile FIBA 1 level backboards
• Six competition courts with FIBA 3 rated ceiling mounted backboards
• 11m high ceilings
• Floors in competition area marked for Netball, Badminton, Basketball and Volleyball
• Six change room areas and 48 toilets
• Seating for 2000 in show court area
• Seating for 600 on competition courts
• Spectator viewing areas from first floor foyer
• Fully accessible for wheelchair sports
• First Floor event and VIP meeting room for up to 270 people
• Café

• Monday-Wednesdays 8:00am-10:30pm
  Casual court usage is generally available between 8am and 3.30pm
• Thursday-Friday 8:00am-9:00pm  
  Except on event days. Phone ahead to check availability.
• Saturdays-Sundays 9.00am-3.00pm
  Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 3pm for casual shooting.

Parking at Bendat Basketball Centre:
The Bendat Basketball Centre carpark is primarily for the users of Bendat Stadium:

• Closing hours may vary without notice and are based on stadium requirements.
• The carpark may close as early as 5:30pm (weekdays) and subject to change on weekends.
• Should your car be locked into the garage (after the car park has closed), the garage will be opened the following day (with exception of some weekends and public holidays).
• In using this carpark, you do so at your own risk.
