The ETP aims to provide athletes with the knowledge and understanding needed be successful in future WA representative teams and athletes aspiring to represent Western Australia at the most elite level in the country.
Athletes wishing to be considered for the 2021 U13 ETP (born 2009) will need to have attended the U14 Future Development Program (FDP) Skill Sessions.
Athletes wishing to be considered for the 20201U15 ETP (born 2007) will need to have attended the U16 State Performance Program (SPP) Trials.
Athletes wishing to be considered for the 2021 U17 ETP (born 2005) will need to have attended the U18 State Performance Program (SPP) Trials.
Invitations will be sent to select athletes who have been identified by BWA High Performance Staff.
Athletes who are selected in to the U15 & U17 Emerging Talent Programs will have the opportunity to be promoted to the U16 & U18 State Performance Programs should there be an injury, withdrawal, or removal from the program.
The decision for an athlete to be elevated to these programs will be made in collaboration with the respective SPP Squad Head Coach, and the BWA High Performance Staff.
Decisions will be based off of ETP attendance, performance at ETP sessions, and the needs of the SPP squad.
