BWA is pleased to announce that NBA Global Academy Development Coach Nico Loureiro will be hosting two coaching clinics in Perth in December.

Coach Nico is a former international coach with the JR NBA program in Kolkata-India, and the NBA Yao Basketball Club in Beijing China.

Throughout his basketball playing and coaching career, Nico has been a member of 6 National Championship Titles (4 in Canada, 1 in Ecuador, 1 in Mexico), and 1 World Championship Title. Nico has coached at the professional level in 3 countries: Canada, Mexico and Ecuador.

In 2016, he was the youngest Head Coach to lead a team in the history of Mexico’s Professional Basketball League.

Nico has done international basketball camps, tours and solidarity projects in Puerto Rico, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, and Italy, and was an Assistant Coach for Canada’s Deaf Senior National Team who competed at the 2012 Deaf Pan-American Games in Brazil
