South-West Benefits from BWA Visit

Basketball WA’s visit to Eaton last Friday and Saturday was met with a warm reception as Vanessa Lock, Craig Reynolds and Vlad Alava paid the Southwest region a visit to share some knowledge with members of the South-West basketball community.

Originating from an approach made by Eaton Basketball Association President Andrew Kuiper, the Basketball WA trio spent Friday night and Saturday morning covering areas such as Administration assistance (FIBA Organiser), Coach Courses and Coaching clinics.

Vanessa Lock ran administrators through FIBA Organiser, Vlad Alava conducted a Level O Coaches Course, while Craig Reynolds ran some of the Eaton juniors and coaches through a coaching clinic on the famed Read and React offense.

Equally enthusiastic basketball members ranging from Eaton, Bunbury, Busselton, Dunsborough and Collie were present through both days and benefitted from the visit with positive feedback derived from all those involved.

Basketball WA would like to thank all those involved with the visit and to the South West region for their enthusiasm  and energy in participation.
