2013/14 WA-National Intensive Training Program Applications Open

Basketball WA (BWA) is pleased to announce that it is taking applications for the 2013/14 WA-National Intensive Training Program (WA-NITP).

The WA-NITP is open to high performing athletes aged 14-17 years old and focuses on basketball skill development through advanced teaching techniques and specialised coaching.

Positions are strictly limited in this program to athletes who have outstanding potential to compete successfully at national and international level.

This program is part of the BWA High Performance Program under the direction of High Performance Manager, Brett Coxsedge who has headed up successful NITP programs both here and interstate for many years.

"The National Intensive Training Program is an internationally recognised program that allows some of the best junior basketballers in Australia to receive the extra development and coaching required to hopefully one day compete at the national or international level."

"As always we will be looking at selecting the most talented junior basketballers from WA who have the potential to get to this level in what will be a competitive selection process given the limited number of spots available in this year’s program."

For further information and to complete the online player application form visit the Basketball WA website by clicking here.

Applications close Friday 16th August.
