Basketball WA is proud to be working alongside some of our indigenous partners Pioneers Aboriginal Corporation, Koya Aboriginal Corporation and Boordiya Moort to enable our NAIDOC carnival on Monday July 5 and Tuesday July 6.

This year’s NAIDOC event aligns with the NAIDOC message of “HEAL COUNTRY, heal our nation.” Basketball WA has worked closely with our NAIDOC Carnival Indigenous Patrons Council to help guide our approach and activities to this year’s carnival and through this vehicle and have established meaningful relationships allowing us to start conversations on how to help Heal Country.

The carnival will support multiple age divisions starting with U12’s and finishing with U25’s. Round robin games will be played across both days, with Finals held on the second day.

We thank our supporters in Healthway promoting the Basketball Fuelling Champions message. We look forward to the successful partnership with our indigenous clubs that provide so much support to young aboriginal people in their basketball journey and lives.
