Basketball WA is pleased to announce that it has extended its partnership with Kickz101 Perth in an exciting sponsorship deal that will provide benefits to both senior and junior players in the State Basketball League (SBL) and Western Australian Basketball League (WABL) competitions.
After coming on board as the SBL Grand Final naming rights partner in 2012, Kickz101 Perth will again be the naming rights sponsor for the 2013 State Basketball League Grand Finals.
In addition to sponsoring the event, the winning women’s and men’s teams will also receive a $1,000 voucher for the team to spend at an in-store event.
In an exciting move, Kickz101 Perth have agreed to increase their sponsorship of the SBL by sponsoring a new weekly award. Each week for the remainder of the season, the SBL will announce a “Kickz101 Perth Newcomer of the Week” award winner for both the women’s and men’s competitions.
At the end of each month, from the pool of weekly award winners, a women’s and men’s “Kickz101 Perth Newcomer of the Month” will be announced with the winners receiving a free pair of shoes of their choice in-store.
A similar initiative will be used during the 2013 WABL season for junior players with a male and female “Kickz101 Perth Fairest & Best” award being announced each week based on club nominations for players actions on and off the floor.
Each month, from the pool of weekly award winners, a “Kickz101 Perth Fairest & Best” female and male award winner will be chosen with the winners to receive a free pair of shoes in-store.
“Kickz101 Perth is fast becoming a popular place for basketball players in Western Australia, they truly are a basketball store for Western Australian basketball players and fans” said BWA Chief Operating Officer Christian Rice.
“Basketball WA is extremely pleased to be extending its partnership with Kickz101 Perth in 2013, the team there have done an outstanding job in starting the store and we look forward to seeing where the partnership can go in the future.”
