BWA APPOINT BRIGHTON PASS AS NBL1 WEST LEAGUE MANAGER

Basketball WA are pleased to welcome former SBL Championship Player and Eastern Suns Operations Manager, Brighton Pass as its new NBL1 West League Manager.

Brighton, a highly talented junior player, has over 100 games experience in the State Basketball League playing for both the Eastern Suns and East Perth Eagles where he won an SBL Championship in 2014.

Since 2020, Brighton has been employed by the Eastern Suns as their Operations Manager and has played an integral part in the club re-brand and transition to the NBL1.

Brighton will take on the role of NBL1 West League Manager, reporting to Adam Bowler who has held the role since 2012 and is now undertaking a Senior Management role with Basketball WA as the General Manager of Basketball Operations.

Bowler said he is looking forward to having Brighton in the role.

“I’m excited to have Brighton join our team and bring his experience as a player, club administrator and digital media professional to the organisation.

I’m confident Brighton’s skill set, passion and drive will contribute to the success of the NBL1 program and allow the League to develop, grow and evolve to another level.

I will continue to be heavily involved in the NBL1 program and work with Brighton to ensure the NBL1 West operates at the highest possible level”

Brighton will commence his role with Basketball WA on August 15.
