BWA have appointed consultants Solucio to deliver our Statewide Facilities Strategy and Facilities Design Guide.

Solucio were selected by our project reference group from three short-listed consultants.

Solucio’s experience will be invaluable as they have prepared similar facilities strategies for Basketball Queensland and Basketball Tasmania, the Facility Guidelines for Victoria, as well as state strategies for other sports including cricket, gymnastics, golf, bowls, and hockey.

We look forward to working with Solucio to deliver this important project for our sport.

Basketball WA welcomes associations and stakeholder input throughout this process and many will be invited to contribute through online surveys, direct consultation, and review so the resulting facilities strategy best reflects the future needs of our sport.

BWA anticipates the Facilities Design Guide will be finalised in April and the overall Facilities Strategy to be completed by June.
