Cockburn Basketball Association are excited to announce the appointment of Emma Pass as their Stadium Operations Manager.

Emma completed her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education, Sport Science and Recreation Management, graduating with Honours in 2003 at the Loughborough University.  She went on to completing her Post Graduate Certificate in Sport Science in 2010, all this whilst competing as a Professional Sportsperson in five different leagues all over the world.

Her involvement in sport over these years included:

• Sporting Champion Mentor for young athletes and school children for 6 years.
• Community Project Officer for Women and Girls in Sport  (2 years)
• International Basketball Player representing Great Britain 70 times.
• Professional Basketball Player 5 leagues over Europe, Spain and Australia.
• Played over 150 games for the Cockburn Cougars Women’s SBL Team
• Development Officer for Cockburn Basketball Association in 2008/09 and was instrumental in the growth of participation numbers in camps and competitions during this time.
• If that’s not enough – Professional Firefighter in Great Britain.

Emma will bring a high level of professionalism and management skills to the role.  She also has a wide range of experience in the Fundraising, Sponsorship and Marketing areas.

An exciting time for Cockburn Basketball, her infectious personality and enthusiasm will be a definite asset to our organisation.

Emma will commence her role on Monday October 6th 2014.  Please join the Board in congratulating Emma on her appointment, and introducing yourself next time you are at the stadium.
