Basketball WA is pleased to announce the appointment of David Naylor to the position of “Coach Development and Pathways Manager”. The WA basketball public will be familiar with David from his previous role of Development Manager for Basketball WA.

The position of Coach Development and Pathways Manager is a full-time and newly created role.

David’s responsibilities will include developing, coordinating and delivering Coach Development and Education programs (including the accreditation of coaches). His role will also involve working directly with Associations to develop Player and Coach development plans and programs and to assist with the education of coaches to improve the overall standard of coaching in WA.

David will also assist with the delivery of Talent Identification programs as well as the development of a coaching pathway.

Brett Coxsedge, Basketball WA’s High Performance Manager said, “it will be great to have David back in WA in this newly created and very important role.”

“Basketball WA looks forward to David continuing to build on the good work done previously by Andy Stewart. David’s willingness to get out and about the courts will be great asset for the whole WA basketball community.”

David will commence official duties on Monday 24 July 2017.
