Dr Stephen Bird Lecture a Success
On Wednesday night, over 50 coaches from sports such as Basketball, Hockey, Surf Life Saving, Golf and Netball attending a thought provoking interactive workshop on Athlete in the Making-Developing Movement Athleticism.
Dr Bird from the Western Region Academy of Sport spoke of the importance of movement screening and developing athletes for reduced injury and greater future performance.
Dr Bird will be providing further lectures in the near future for Basketball WA.
