Opals Head Coach Carrie Graf’s visit to Perth last week was endorsed as a true success with some of the State’s top junior/senior athletes and coaches able to benefit from the National mentor’s short stay in the West.
Graf worked exclusively with members of the Go For 2 & 5 Perth Lynx team on some new skill development methods on Monday night, then spent time with NITP athletes to pass on her knowledge to some of WA’s top junior talent on Tuesday night.
She also held court with the BWA’s Coaches Club on Monday night, speaking on all things basketball for the best part of two hours. This was followed by her coaching clinic at Willetton Basketball Stadium on Tuesday night with the Willetton Tigers WSBL team. The clinic was well received by coaches with an estimated 30 plus coaches in attendance.
The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive and Basketball WA thanks Carrie for her time and efforts towards helping the development of basketball in Western Australia across all facets of the game.
