| Congratulations to the Black Ducks on their incredible achievement winning gold at the National Junior Wheelchair Championships in Moreton Bay, Queensland.
The Black Ducks defeated Victoria 58-34 in a dominant display, leading at every change of the gold medal match. Cooper Spillane starring with 23 points and 17 rebounds.

| Three West Australians were today selected to represent Australia at the FIBA U17 World Cup tournament, a reflection of their strong individual performances at the National Championships.
Luke Paul, John Aryang and Alex Edwards will attend training camp at the Australian Institute of Sport in May prior to final selection for the U17 Crocs team. “We are proud to have three West Aussies in the World Cup conversation and congratulate Luke, John and Alex on their squad selection. This is an important and exciting milestone for them as they pursue their national aspirations, and we wish them every success at the May camp. ” Faulds said.

| WA’s State under 18 teams had mixed results in the metropolitan and country divisions against extremely competitive opposition.
“National championships are a great opportunity for athletes to learn and develop in demanding environments, with these experiences only being for the betterment of all involved across the four 18s teams” Faulds said. “We look forward to the opportunity to build on our learnings as well as a pathways team and congratulate all our representatives on their dedication and hard work across the campaign and in the lead-up.” WA will next compete in the Under 16 National Junior Championships being held in Bendigo this July.
