The WA basketball community will have one of the only opportunities to see the Boomers before their 2014 FIBA World Cup campaign when they arrive on May 23 for a two week training camp and two games against Team China.
The Australian Boomers return to Perth in two weeks for a training camp and two games against Team China at Challenge Stadium.
Three WA born and developed players will be hitting the training court, led by Olympian and South West Slammers product Mark Worthington. Former NBL Rookie of the Year and also a South West product, Cameron Gliddon will also be in the squad with Kalamunda big man Luke Nevill.
Wildcats duo Damian Martin and Matthew Knight are also in the 14 man squad that will train at the WA Basketball Centre from May 23 to June 3.
From the camp 12 players will be named to take on Team China on Thursday 29 May and Saturday 31 May at Challenge Stadium with both games shown on ABC.
