Basketball WA will again be sending teams to the Southern Cross Challenge tournament in Melbourne in January 2015.

Eight Development Tour teams will attend the tournament and compete against teams from State across Australia.

Basketball WA now invites applications from referees to fill eight positions at this tournament. This tournament is viewed as an important development opportunity for those looking to further their referee career.

All referees will receive expert training whilst at the tournament and Basketball WA will cover the costs of accommodation and meals whilst away. Each referee must be prepared to cover the cost of their return flights to Melbourne only.

Interest referees should complete the application form and return to Basketball WA by 12:00pm Friday 7 November, 2014.
