Two WA players set to represent Australia

Two young Western Australian players joined talented players from around Australia today in an Under 19 team representing Australia at the FIBA Oceania Pacific Championships in New Zealand.

Willetton Tigers and Alcohol. Think Again West Coast Waves young guard Mikayla Pirini and Cockburn Cougars product Rhys Vague were both selected in the team.

They’ll both be taking on teams from New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Guam, Fiji, Tahiti, Samoa & New Caledonia with the tournament starting today and running through to Wednesday 4 December.
