Basketball WA will be holding a coach and referee course in April.

Association Beginner referee courses are ideal for the those that are embarking on a referee career and wish to learn about the fundamental skills involved in becoming an official. This course is predominantly practical based and empowers candidates with the necessary skills to start officiating.

Community coaching courses are an integral part of coach education and aims to teach participants the essential individual offensive and defensive skills players need in order to help develop their game. This course also covers general principles of coaching to help participants understand how to become a productive coach in order to best help their teams.

Both courses are recognised State-wide and are prerequisites for the next level of accreditation. More details on each course can be found on the "Upcoming Courses" page.
