Basketball WA is currently gearing up for another year of the National Intensive Training Program and is seeking Expressions of Interest from coaches wanting to be involved.
The National Intensive Training Program (NITP) is a program to identify and select outstanding basketball athletes aged between 14-17 and develop their mental skills, individual skills and team concepts which will aid them too compete successfully at National and International level.
An important part of the program is coaches who work within the NITP, who are referred to as Network Coaches. The Network NITP coaches attend camps and assist with individual/small group training of athletes.

Being a high performance based program, opportunities also exist for coaches to progress within the BWA Development System to positions of greater responsibility in the BWA development camp programs, development tour programs and State team programs.
