Three of WA’s best junior basketballers have been selected to attend the 2012 Nike All-Asia Camp held this year 6th -10th June in Guangzhou, China.
Tevin Jackson (Willetton), Caleb Davis (Stirling) and Jack Fletcher (Willetton) will be attending the five day camp run by Perth Wildcats Head Coach Rob Beveridge.
The camp has been running since 2000 with the aim to provide athletes from Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, China and New Zealand the opportunity to be taught by NBA coaches, NBA players and compete against the best players in the Asian region.
At the 2011 camp, NBA players Demar DeRozen, Rudy Gay and Yi Jianlan instructed at the camp with Jianlan teaching post footwork.
“This camp is for players with the potential to have a professional career” says Coach Beveridge.
“Davis and Fletcher had a great U18 Australian Championships and Jackson has untapped athletic potential. The exposure to high quality coaching and competition will greatly assist their development as professional athletes”
