An outstanding opportunity has now become available to assist with the West Coast Waves Women’s National Basketball League team based in Perth, Western Australia.

This Apprentice Coach position will be responsible for reporting to the Head Coach and assist with all on and off court responsibilities. This exciting and challenging role will involve assisting the Head Coach and coaching staff with various duties with the Waves program.

This position is well suited to a strategic and creative thinker who is looking to extend on their basketball experiences and learn under the West Coast Waves Head Coach. The successful applicant would have excellent relationship building and communication skills and have a proven history working with women’s basketball. Experience in coaching basketball teams at an SBL or state level would be advantageous, preferably with extensive experience in women’s basketball.

This is a voluntary role within the West Coast Waves WNBL program for the 2012/2013 season.
