The 2013/14 Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) starts this weekend and our very own Alcohol. Think Again West Coast Waves will be heading to Adelaide for their first game of the season. 

With our first home game next Friday 11 October we thought we would update you on some great ways you can support your team as they take on some of the best female basketball players in the world. 

First Two Home Games – WABL Players Free Entry
To celebrate the season starting the Waves are offering all 2013 WABL players FREE entry to our first two home games on October 11 and October 20. All you need to do is simply wear your colours! Come to the game wearing your associations WABL warm-up top, jacket, polo shirt, or any official association items and get a free childs entry to the game. 

2013/14 Season Memberships
The Waves have been busy attending WABL and SBL games during the past few months signing up members. We’re pleased announce that we have a record number of members already this season and it’s not too late for you to join us. 

Waves members receive great benefits along with entry in to all home games. Membership’s are just $90 for children, $120 for concession or $140 for adults. Family membership is also available at just $370. Not only will you receive entry to all games you’ll also receive a full membership pack, exclusive discounts on our merchandise and our popular Waves Clinics, along with much more.

School Holiday Camps & Waves Skills Academy
Our popular School Holiday Camp is running again this October School Holidays. Learn some skills from our Waves players in a fun & friendly environment. The camp is being run from October 7-9 (9am-12pm daily) and is just $70. If you haven’t signed up, it’s not too late to register online (click here). 

We’re also excited to be launching our West Coast Waves Skills Academy in Term Four this year. This ten week program will be led by players Deanna Smith and Shani Amos and is designed for players who want to improve their skills in a more structured environment. All participants receive a work book, a Waves reversible training singlet along with rewards and merchandise as well! The sessions run from 4:30pm – 5:30pm every Tuesday at the WA Basketball Centre during Term Four (October 15-December 17). The cost is just $165 and you can sign-up online now, but hurry as numbers are limited and places are filling up fast.
