Congratulations Libby Woods – Member of the Order of Australia (AM)
Libby Woods is widely regarded as one of Australia’s most accomplished basketball technical officials and administrators.
Her outstanding service includes 12 years as Chair of WA Basketball, 16 years leading the National Scorebench Committee, and more than two decades with the FIBA Technical Commission. She has officiated at World Championships, Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, and was inducted into the Basketball WA Hall of Fame in 2021 in recognition of her exceptional contribution to the sport.
Congratulations on being recognised at the highest level, being appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) – a fitting and well-deserved honour!
