Basketball WA is pleased to announce 6x Paralympian Shaun Norris OAM has been appointed Head Coach of the Perth Wheelcats Men for Season 2026.

Norris transitions to coaching as one of the most accomplished wheelchair basketball athletes in the country having competed at multiple Paralympic Games and World Championships.

A long-time Wheelcats and Australian Rollers representative, Norris was recently appointed coach of the wheelchair team at the National Wheelchair Championships in April.

Norris’ appointment as Head Coach of the Men’s Wheelcats team will bring a deep understanding of the game complexities, connections, and culture.

The Perth Wheelcats Men’s 2026 season tips off on at home on June 12 at Bendat Basketball Centre.
