Basketball WA Welcomes Candice Heapes as Chief Operating Officer

It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Candice Heapes as the new Chief Operating Officer of Basketball WA. In this crucial role, Candice will spearhead our supporting operations, with a strong focus on Payroll, Finance, IT, HR & WHS, Stadium Management, and Association Development.

Candice joins us with an impressive track record, having held senior executive positions in top-tier corporate and educational roles. Her exceptional financial expertise and understanding of operational governance, combined with her deep passion for sports and community, make Candice an ideal fit for Basketball WA. Candice’s alignment with BWA’s values and vision, along with her dynamic leadership, will undoubtedly drive our continual improvement.
