Basketball WA is calling for Expressions of Interest for the role of Referee Course presenters.

This casual and as needed position involves the delivery and facilitation of presenting Basketball WA’s approved referee education curriculum as outlined by Basketball Australia.

Presenters are needed in the Perth Metropolitan and Country regions for both:

Community referee (old Level O) course

Level 1 referee course

Both positions require the following qualifications and skills:

• Minimum Level 1 referee coach
• Presenters certificate or equivalent Adult Education qualification and training
• Working with Children Check card
• Current knowledge of the FIBA Basketball rules

Basketball WA is currently reviewing and updating the qualifications of all its presenters and asks that current presenters also send through their qualifications if they wish to be considered for future referee courses.

Only courses with the appointment of a Basketball WA recognised and qualified presenter will be given approved status for accreditation.
