The BWA Board are pleased to announce and welcome Kelly Exeter as a Board Appointed, NBL1 West Commissioner to the Basketball WA team.

Kelly Exeter has been involved with basketball in WA since 1995.

Her involvement with the SBL/NBL1 competition has been diverse, ranging from being the partner of a former league MVP and Playing Life member (the late Anthony Exeter), to serving as a volunteer, administrator and being a passionate fan of the league.

Via her role as an association Board Member when the SBL evolved to NBL1 West, Kelly understands the strategic objectives driving the league’s ongoing evolution. Her various roles in WA basketball at all levels, in conjunction with her own experience as an elite athlete and sports administrator, all offer her strong insights into all three key aspects of the league: competition, performance, and people.

Kelly has a particular interest in the pathways side of sports and is committed to ensuring that all levels of basketball in WA provide appropriate opportunities for players, coaches, and officials to achieve their full potential.
