Basketball WA is seeking a volunteer Archivist / Historian.

If you have a passion for getting your teeth into a project and like to see the benefits of your work, BWA has an opportunity for someone to assist the association to collect, store and preserve the history of Basketball in the state.

This role would suit a basketball enthusiast who is interested in the history of the sport.

The role involves assisting Basketball WA in the upkeep of past and present collections and records of historical importance in the Basketball Industry and working alongside the BWA Awards and Historical Committee.

The amount of time spent on the role is flexible and is not fixed but rather it will be designed around the capacity of the person to assist.

Role Responsibilities

Reviewing files/boxes of records

Describing records

Providing reference

Preserving material

BWA Awards and Historical Committee meeting attendance
